Deputy Chief of State Protocol
Total salary package:
R872 214 per annum. This all-inclusive remuneration package consists of a basic salary, the State’s contribution to the Government Employees Pension Fund and a flexible portion that may be structured in terms of the applicable rules. Duties:

Debtor Management:

- Draw relevant expenditure reports from the accounting system (on a monthly basis)
- Distribute to the relevant branches for analysis and comment

- Ensure that proper adjustments are made to both the budget and the expenditure reports of allocated branches
- Obtain cash flow projections from all allocated branches
- Submit consolidated projections to the Deputy Director
- Manage transfer of funds to missions
- Monitor cash flow drawings against projections on a monthly basis and report deviations to the Deputy Director
- Request the creation or deletion of allocation codes from ICT
- Provide training to branch end users in using allocation codes on specific request from the Deputy Director
- Develop training material and present training at FSI on specific request from the Deputy Director
- Closely monitor appropriation statement
- Identify savings and over-expenditure in allocated branches and report to the Deputy Director
- Implement fund virements, according to guidelines supplied by the Deputy Director.
